It is never a good idea to memorize usernames and passwords for too many accounts. You can either forget a set of credentials or get them mixed up. ID Vault allows you to save your login credentials and protect them with a master PIN. You can store financial, bank or other accounts types and credit cards, along with various details.

The application works on all popular Windows platforms and it takes about a minute to install it. When the process is complete, the setup wizard will help you create your master PIN and add your first accounts. ID Vault's hardware requirements are modest and it does not ask for any additional tools.

ID Vault's user interface is compact and simple and its functionality is even simpler. To store an account's login information, you only need to log into your account, on your preferred web browser. Once you sign in, a message will pop up in the lower right corner of the screen, with an option for adding the credentials to the database. Alternatively, you may click different options if you wish to add them at a later date or if you don't want to add them at all.

Financial accounts can be added as well, but the procedure is a bit different. Instead of logging in on your web browser, you must click the financial accounts parent folder, located on the application's interface, and specify the website's URL and log in, on a separate Window. Once you add them to your database, you will be able to log into your accounts instantly, without typing anything, just by clicking an account's entry.

It is also possible to add credit cards to the database, along with a wide range of information. Besides a credit card's name, you can specify its type, number expiration date, its PIN and the name on the card.

Access to the application's user interface is granted only if the correct PIN is provided, on a virtual numbers pad. Furthermore, ID Vault allows you to back up and restore your database, print it and scan your web browsers for vulnerable passwords.

Pros

You can add usernames and passwords to the database, just by logging in on your preferred web browser. The application allows you to sign into your saved accounts instantly, without typing their usernames and passwords.

Cons

There are no obvious drawbacks to mention. If you wish to remember all your passwords and keep them secure at the same time, ID Vault is exactly what you need.
